Vladislav Geykh (Vladislav Leontyevich Geykhman; born December 25, 1934, in Chernigov – 2004, in Versailles) was a Soviet and French pop singer (baritone), and the first performer of the song "Morse Code" (M. Fradkin - M. Plyatskovsky). It was he who performed this famous hit by Mark Fradkin in 1965, with lyrics by Mikhail Plyatskovsky. The song became an unofficial anthem for polar explorers and residents of the North. He also performed lyrical and patriotic songs by Soviet composers. Among his other recordings are such compositions as "I'll Give You for the Winter," "Beautiful Eyes," and "Airplanes." He is often referred to as one of the "forgotten voices" of the Leningrad stage, as, despite the popularity of some of his hits, information about his biography in open sources is relatively scarce.
