Ramil Suleimanovich Kuramshin (1947–2022) — composer, virtuoso accordion player, accompanist, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan. Born on July 16, 1947 in the village of Kochko-Pozharki, Sergachsky District, Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) Region, into a family of teachers. He graduated from high school in 1964, entered the music faculty of the Kazan Pedagogical Institute. Then he transferred to the Kazan Music School to become a professional accordion player. Since 1968, he has worked at the Tatar State Philharmonic named after Tukay, and for more than 20 years he performed in the team of People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgam Shakirov — he is considered his best accompanist. He collaborated with the luminaries of Tatar song - Fathi Nasretdinov, Ilyas Ishbulatov, Raisa Bilyalova, Gabdulla Rakhimkulov, Zifa Basyrova.
