Kasalla (Rhenish for trouble, riot) is a German band from Cologne. With her Kölschrock she is also active in the carnival. The band was founded in mid-2011 by guitarist and songwriter Flo Peil and singer Bastian Campmann. Peil has been active in the Cologne music scene for years and has already written music and lyrics for numerous well-known Cologne bands such as Bläck Fööss, Paveier and the Cologne youth choir Sankt Stephan. In addition, the Düren-born front man was the pop group Peilomat. The first songs were written together with singer Bastian Campmann, son of the Räuber guitarist Norbert Campmann, who died in 2007.
