Émile Wandelmer is a French singer and guitarist, best known as the frontman and vocalist of popular bands of the 1980s. He was born on February 15, 1949, in Rabastens, France. In the 1980s, he was the frontman of the band Gold, with whom he recorded hits such as "Plus près des étoiles" and "Capitaine abandonné." In 1999, Wandelmer joined the duo Images, forming Émile & Images. Their album of remakes, "Jusqu'au bout de la nuit," sold over a million copies. In 1990, he released his solo album, "Lover Café," which featured collaborations with renowned musicians such as Jeff Porcaro (Toto) and Peter Frampton.
